We are currently partnering with an award-winning Food business that has enjoyed exponential growth over the last few years. They are looking for an experienced Senior Supply Chain Coordinator to join their established fast paced and dynamic supply chain function, to support the import of goods and products for their growing customer base.

As a Senior Supply Chain Coordinator, you will act as a senior member of the team for all shipping and importing activity of products and goods to the UK.  You will be responsible for effectively controlling the shipping logistics, lead times and delivery of goods inbound to satisfy customer demand.  Working closely with the Sales and Warehousing teams to ensure that KPI’s are being met for successful delivery. As the Senior Supply Chain Coordinator you will have a proven background in supply chain management, have a strong knowledge of importing and shipping licenses and regulations and understand the key demands and responsibilities that this highly visible position requires.

This is a great opportunity for an ambitious individual looking for their next step in responsibility and potentially into a supervisory capacity. You will be supported by an established Manager, working with like-minded individuals and for a company that leads the way in delivering food products to major name retailers.

Experience required:
  • Educated to degree level
  • A background in FMCG or food industry would be preferred, but other fast paced environments will be considered
  • Previous experience of supporting customers/clients and working with highly detailed information
  • Thorough attention to detail, comfortable working with financials
  • Excellent interpersonal skills – to deal with suppliers and internal colleagues
  • Good organisational skills and ability to work to tight deadlines
  • Good computer skills
