We are supporting a leading financial services organisation in the search for an Interim Third Party Risk Management (TPRM) Lead to provide senior-level expertise during a critical phase of TPRM maturity and regulatory alignment.

This role will take ownership of reviewing the current TPRM framework, defining the future operating model, and embedding clear delegated accountabilities across the business, while engaging closely with senior stakeholders and the regulator.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review the current TPRM state and existing improvement materials, including recent consultancy inputs and TPRM service catalogue work.
• Develop and finalise a comprehensive TPRM service catalogue defining the full scope of capability, securing sign-off from the 2nd Line.
• Define the future TPRM operating model, mapping delegated accountabilities to Business Units and named owners.
• Implement documented delegated accountability statements across all delegated areas, ensuring clarity of scope, deliverables, and no gaps in overarching accountability to the CFO.
• Lead existing TPRM governance forums, including Material Oversight.
• Manage regulatory notifications related to Material Outsourcing and ongoing maintenance.
• Develop and implement a plan for monitoring Material vendors using appropriate metrics and attestations.
• Apply TPRM principles pragmatically in line with organisational risk appetite.
• Support the recruitment and onboarding of a permanent TPRM Lead.

Experience Required:

• Significant experience leading Third Party Risk Management within a regulated financial services environment.
• Strong understanding of outsourcing, material supplier risk, and regulatory expectations.
• Proven ability to design and implement operating models, governance frameworks, and accountability structures.
• Confident senior stakeholder manager with experience engaging 2nd Line, executive leadership, and regulators.
• Pragmatic, delivery-focused approach with the ability to balance risk management and business needs.

This is a high-impact Interim opportunity for an experienced TPRM professional to shape and embed a robust, future-ready framework within a complex organisation.

Initial 6 months assignment based in London, 3 days a week in the office.
