This is a strategic leadership role with responsibility for developing and delivering procurement strategy across a broad technology portfolio while partnering with senior business leaders to drive commercial value, innovation, and supplier performance.

This role offers the opportunity to shape procurement strategy, lead a high-performing team and influence key business decisions within a complex, international environment.

The Role:

As Head of IT Procurement, you will be responsible for leading the end-to-end procurement strategy across key technology categories, including:

• Software
• SaaS
• Cloud Services
• IT Infrastructure
• Managed Services
• Telecommunications 

You will lead a team of procurement professionals, delivering strategic sourcing initiatives, strengthening supplier relationships, driving cost optimisation, and ensuring robust governance and risk management across the technology supply base.

Working closely with executive stakeholders, technology leaders, and finance teams, you will play a key role in supporting business transformation and enabling long-term strategic objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and deliver the global IT Procurement strategy.
• Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing procurement team.
• Own complex sourcing programmes and commercial negotiations.
• Build strategic supplier partnerships and drive supplier performance.
• Identify opportunities for supplier consolidation and cost optimisation.
• Partner with senior stakeholders to influence technology investment decisions.
• Strengthen procurement governance, contract management, and risk controls.
• Deliver measurable commercial value while supporting innovation and business growth.
• Monitor market trends and supplier capabilities to ensure best-in-class procurement practices.

About You:

We are looking for an experienced procurement leader with:

• Significant experience leading IT Procurement within a large, complex organisation.
• Strong category expertise across Software, SaaS, Cloud, Infrastructure and Managed Services.
• A proven track record of delivering procurement transformation and commercial value.
• Experience managing and developing procurement teams.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence at executive level.
• Strong commercial negotiation and supplier management experience.
• A strategic mindset combined with a hands-on approach when required.
