Join one of the UK’s most significant infrastructure programmes as it enters a major growth phase. We are looking for a commercially astute Strategic Sourcing Manager to shape and deliver high-value procurement strategies across a complex, fairly greenfield environment.
What you will be doing:
- Lead end-to-end procurement activity for high-value, complex contracts (often £100m+)
- Develop and implement category strategies aligned to business priorities and market conditions.
- Drive cost savings, efficiency improvements, and supply chain innovation.
- Manage supplier relationships and support long-term performance and value delivery.
- Collaborate with senior stakeholders across project delivery, finance, legal, and operations.
- Ensure full compliance with governance, regulatory, and procurement processes.
What we are looking for:
- A mix of directs and indirects/services.
- Strong experience in strategic sourcing or category management within complex environments.
- Proven track record managing large-scale procurement and supplier negotiations.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and influencing skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, high-value setting.
- MCIPS (or working towards) preferred.
- NEC contract experience and Complex infrastructure project experience would be advantageous.
