The right people are key to transformation efforts...

Supporting our thoughts at Beaumont Select, delegates at the 2014 World Procurement Congress heard how having the right people in place, were key to business transformation... Dr. Klaus Staubitzer, CPO of Siemens, explained the transformation journey that his team are on and how having the right people in place, speaking a common language with the stakeholders was required for success.  

Klaus said “If you want to do more, you have to have the right people in place,” he said before adding that they needed to prove to the rest of the business that they can speak the language of all the other business functions. If they didn’t, the function would never be able to gain the traction it needs to be able to drive its influence both at board level and within the different business functions.
