CIPS Launches Professional Development Resource
CIPS has launched an online resource hub to help members further develop their procurement and supply chain skills.
Discussed in Supply Management the hub has been created in partnership with software firm BravoSolution and it will aid members with their continuing professional development, allowing them to improve their organisation’s business performance. Resources include case studies, practitioner insight and best-practice examples, which will give practical solutions to everyday challenges.CIPS said the resources are designed to give accredited CIPS members the tools and knowledge they need to develop beyond conventional procurement practices and deliver more value for their organisations.The resources include text-based and video content around several themes. These include risk-management, spend analysis, tracking and reporting of savings, simplifying RFx processes across organisations, validating and justifying procurement decisions, supporting supplier collaboration, engagement and development, and fostering innovative approaches to procurement.
